Rob Knake

          Program Manager, PTP            American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA)

Robert Knake is currently the Proficiency Testing Provider (PTP) Program Manager with the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). His main responsibility is assisting clients through the process of obtaining and maintaining accreditation, as well as serving as deputy for the Reference Material Producer Program. He is also a staff trainer and conducts training internally of new staff and assessors as well as externally at public training events for A2LA and other organizations. Mr. Knake also serves as a Lead Quality System Assessor and performs oversights of new and current assessors.

Steve Hepburn

                    Director of                        Proficiency Testing Programs        ASTM International

Steve Hepburn is the Director of Proficiency Testing at ASTM International. He is responsible for providing management and direction to forty-four different Proficiency Testing Programs. Steve joined ASTM over three years ago and has held several other technical positions in the fields of Project Management, Project Engineering and Manufacturing. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
